The Committee is responsible for overseeing member compliance with regulations issued by the RBI, the Government, and other regulatory authorities, as well as adherence to Industry Code of Conduct (CoC) and MFIN Directives.
The SROC provides strategic direction and oversight to the SRO function within MFIN, enabling the efficient discharge of its responsibilities. In line with sound governance principles, the committee is predominantly composed of independent board members and select industry experts. The committee functions in accordance with the RBI guidelines and MFIN directives issued from time to time and keeps the Board apprised of key sectoral developments, including industry trends and decisions taken by the SROC. While the committee is empowered to recommend suspension, expulsion, or termination of membership, the final decision rests with the Board.
The SROC exercises oversight over member adherence to the prescribed regulatory framework and industry standards, with a focus on ensuring responsible conduct and customer protection. In particular, the SROC monitors compliance with the following:

- Industry Code of Conduct
